DO YOU HAVE SPECIALIZED SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE IN USE OF A PARTICULAR PRODUCT, METHOD, OR PROGRAM?

T.A.A.T. is working to create a network of members willing to share their skills and experience with those in need of special assistance. If you would be willing to travel occasionally to centers or schools (in your surrounding area) and provide training to staff in need, let us know!! Send the following to TAAT: your name, home region, contact info, and a detailed list of topics or sessions you would be willing to present. Information will be posted on this site so others can see who to call in time of need! _____________________________________________________________

DOES YOUR GROUP NEED SPECIALIZED TRAINING? WE CAN HELP.

The TAAT can help bring knowledgeable professionals to school systems for on-site trainings. TAAT will pay presenters $100 (half day) or $200 (full day) plus mileage to travel into your district and provide specific trainings if you have a need that you cannot meet. The process is simple:

  • Download a request form here
  • Identify a presenter for your topic
  • Fill out form completely
  • Fax or mail to TAAT (at least 2 weeks prior to event date)

All requests are reviewed immediately and decisions made on a case-by-case basis, giving preference to those systems in greatest need. Written approval from TAAT must be provided before scheduling any event.

Individuals who agree to provide the trainings should download a request for reimbursement here and submit to TAAT within 30 days following the scheduled session.

(Systems who agree to allow teachers to present are also eligible to receive compensation for substitute teacher pay at rate of $75 day)
