We’re excited to come together again for everybody’s favorite event…The TAAT CONFERENCE! Do you have AT skills, knowledge, best practices, ideas, or resources that you can share with others? Are you providing services to your students in innovative ways that supports accessibility and fosters engagement with learning? TAAT will be held LIVE at the Cool Springs Marriott in Franklin, TN on December 8-9, 2022.  We are accepting proposals for 60-minute educational sessions that address the use of assistive technologies to adapt education for students with disabilities ages 3 - 21. 

Share your creativity and expertise at our TAAT 2022 Conference

We encourage:

  • Review of software programs, mobile apps, adaptive devices, or strategies for instruction

  • Sharing of innovative ideas and uses of assistive technology in the classroom or home

  • How-to guides, tips and tricks for any tool or technology

  • Ideas to support the implementation process for any task, device, or program

  • Introduction/review of policies and procedures for technology integrations

  • Open forums (round-table discussions) on current issues or for sharing of resources and ideas

Please note:  Our audience is comprised primarily of special education teachers, paraprofessionals, speech therapists, OT clinicians, and AT related service providers.  Proposals should address practical applications and strategies for use that can be easily understood and integrated into the classroom/curriculum.  

Proposals are accepted for all levels, from introductory to advanced, as we strive to create a comprehensive program spanning the AT experience continuum. Proposal topics should align with one or more of the Strand Descriptions.

Deadline for submission is October 07, 2022 at 4:00 pm EST.  Email notification of proposal status acceptance will be sent by Oct. 10, along with a unique link for free registration as a confirmed speaker.  Two speakers per session will be granted FREE conference registration.
