We’re excited to come together again for everybody’s favorite event…The TAAT CONFERENCE! Do you have AT skills, knowledge, best practices, ideas, or resources that you can share with others? Are you providing services to your students in innovative ways that supports accessibility and fosters engagement with learning? Then we’d love to have you join us!

  We are accepting proposals for 60-minute educational sessions that address the use of assistive technologies to adapt education for students with disabilities ages 3 - 21. 

TAAT will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center in Murfreesboro, TN on December 3-4, 2026.

Proposal Guidelines

We welcome sessions across the following topics:

  • Early Intervention, (Birth - Three)

  • Education and Learning - Curriculum Access (Preschool - Grade 12)

  • Using Visual Supports for Access and/or Communication

  • AT Assessment and Documentation

  • AT for Physical Access and Participation

  • Adaptive Play and Leisure

  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

  • AT for Behavior Management

  • Vision and Hearing Technologies

  • Autism and Related Disorders

  • Staff and/or Parent Education

  • Mainstream Accessible Technologies

  • AT Administration and Leadership

  • State AT Programs and Related Support Services

Deadline for submission is September 18, 2026 at 4:00 pm EST.  Email notification of proposal status acceptance will be sent by Oct. 01, along with a unique link for free registration as a confirmed speaker.  Two speakers per session will be granted FREE conference registration.
